Activist’s library

Many times we have heard someone say, “We didn’t study labor history in school. How can I find out more about the labor movement?”

To help make that happen, Local 36047 has started an activist’s library. While it is admittedly small, we are just starting out (anyone out there have any good books you want to donate?) and hope to increase our inventory over time. We also have some books about newspapers, journalism, as well as other subjects that we think our members may want to read about, and are also compiling movies about the labor movement.

Any Guild member can sign out a book or movie at no cost. However, we do ask that you post a review of what you read/watched on the comment portion of this website.
